Network Engineer (L3)

We are looking for a Network Engineer (L3) to join the IT team for an important client in Alba.

You will work on IT environment mainly focused on:

• Cisco Switches
• Cisco/Meraki Access Points
• Cisco Campus, ISE, Sd-Access, SD-wan
• CheckPoint Firewalls
• Infoblox DNS, DHCP and IPAM manager devices

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Network Engineer L3, you act a role of Senior Engineer dealing with technological consultancy and implementation of medium-complex infrastructures. The L3 implementation collects and analyzes the customer’s requirements, defining the architecture and infrastructure migration strategy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

•  AS-IS analysis of customer infrastructures, discussion of project requirements and executive design.
• Consultancy and tracking of evolutionary roadmaps of infrastructures.
• Defines and personally executes the POC (Proof of Concept) with customers.
• Performs configurations and more complex troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• In complex projects he coordinates, in the role of technical leader, other specialists and third parties involved.
• Prepares HLD, LLD documentation and technical project presentations.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as an engineer.
• The L3 Implementation Engineer has specialized expertise on systems, protocols and devices with an overall vision of the services that it provides across the entire IT infrastructure.
• The resource is used to design and integrate complex solutions by creating High Level and Low Level Design documentation.
• He has advanced and/or expert certifications from the main reference vendors with a multi-year field experience as a delivery engineer.
• He is a technical focal point for customers from the design phase to user training and skill transfer.
• Proficient in Italian and English language
